Man gets jail for writing graffiti on refugees homes.
A guy in new hampshire said he was " angry at an imperfect world". Named Raymond Stevens , he pleaded guilty to criminal mischief. This is known as a special felony because it's a hate crime. Raymond wrote messages such as " the sub humans in this home are enjoying a free ride" and on another he wrote " go back to your hell and leave us alone". One of the victims, Manasse Ngendhayo said " my heart was distressed. I was violated as a human being". Many other victims said that it reminded them of the terror they had lived in the congo and Rwanda. While at court Raymond says " I am deeply remorseful for the pain I have caused all these good families". " I was angry at an imperfect world and allowed it to fester". Stevens has been diagnosed with mental illness but never got treated. After he got arrested he attempted to kill himself. Raymond was sentenced to 5 years probation and 1 year jail time. If he was to do this again he would get up to 30 years in prison.
